CHIS HOLDS ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY

Work hard in silence. Let success make the noise!

Hard work is a reward in itself. It shapes our character and builds strength. But of course when the hard work is acknowledged and leads to attainment of the goal, the feeling is unparalleled. Every year Central High International aims to recognize the efforts of all our students, especially those who have managed to set academic standards that are an inspiration to their peers.

The year 2014-15 saw a good number of our students in the academic toppers circle and the school held its annual prize-giving ceremony to honour them. The top three scholars from every level were rewarded for their consistent efforts, with certificates and medals, while their parents, guardians, teachers and peers cheered on in pride. Held at the Mpingwe Sports Club, the function aimed to showcase and reward our young academicians.

Graced by the Guest of Honour, Mr Kassam Okhai, Director, Access Communications Ltd., and members of the school management, the function was a great success especially when it was time to give away Samsung Tablets to the senior most toppers from IGCSE, AS and A2 levels. The coveted Student of the Year Award was taken home by the very deserving candidate Aaliya Rashid, which had the entire hall cheer out in unison.
